I wanted desperately to love these boots, and was looking for better winter traction, but just couldn't get the sizing right. My old Classic Shorts are a 7, which felt too small at first but have turned out to be a perfect fit. With the size 7 Ultimate, my toes were hitting the end of the boot, but I was swimming in an 8. Heel slipping up and down, foot sliding back and forth. Also, if you're used to the Classic, these are a lot heavier. If only UGGS made 1/2 sizes!

I purchased a cheap pair of Ugg-like boots last winter after reading rave reviews all over. They lasted barely through the season, and I spent the next few months looking for something higher quality, but cheaper than Uggs.
